Intersail Hostel offers cozy parquet floor cabins in a small houseboat located in the centre within a 10-minute walk from Central Station. Rembrandtplein is a 15 minutes’ walk.
Each cabin in this hostel boat has compact wooden bunk beds and a sink and is decorated in warm colours. There are shared bathrooms and shower rooms.
For an extra fee, breakfast is provided each morning at Hostel Avontuur,. It consists of rolls, bread, eggs, spreads, cereals, yoghurts and drinks. Its excluded from the room price but remains extensive
It is 1.5 km to Dam Square which is just a 10-minute walk from the Anne Frank House. Leidseplein and the Museum Quarter are just over 2.5 km away.
A Park and Ride car park is 30 minutes away by public transport.
The Zoo Artis, Nemo, Micropia and Maritime museum arewithin 10 minutes walk from the hostel.
The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.
Extra rules and deposit apply to group bookings of 6 or more, individual bookings part of a group also count as a group when it equals 6 or more people.
Group bookings can be cancelled without refund: If the rules are not followed, if the group doesnt pay the extra deposit on arrival, if several rooms are booked individually and are not reported as a group booking.
The ship is located on Oosterdok Pier number 4. If you get lost, ask for NEMO (scientific museum) which is very close to the property. The name of the ship is Christina and there is a big sign of Intersail on the side.

After 21:00 guests can check-in by using the self check-in service. Access code is necessary which is provided by Intersail Hostel - Christina.
Public parking is available at Parking Oosterdok or at P+R Zeeburg (Zuiderzeeweg 46, 1095 KJ Amsterdam).
At Parking Oosterdok it costs EUR 1 per 12 minutes during the first 5 hours. Between 5-24 hours, the costs are EUR 20 in total for parking. After 24 hours, the cycle starts again.
A key deposit of EUR 10 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
